You do not need to have a topic in mind when you decide to pursue honors. There are many different ways to decide upon an honors thesis topic.

CMC students must write a thesis in one of their majors. Keck Science Majors must write a science thesis even if they have another non-science major. Off-campus majors must complete a thesis either through CMC or the college sponsoring their major. Detailed thesis requirements can be found here.
